📝 1. Description of the exercise

Technical-tactical exercise in a reduced format that combines possession, transition and finishing with a physical-technical load. Two teams of 8 players face each other in a reduced space (15×15 or 20×20 m), with 4 mini goals placed on the sides of the square. The attacking team maintains possession in a round-robin style, while two defenders start their participation from the opposite corners after performing a physical-technical action. If the attackers achieve a certain number of passes, they can finish in any of the goals. If the defenders steal, they counterattack towards the same goals with active opposition.

⚙️ 2. Organization and development

  • Space: 15×15 or 20×20 m.

  • Equipment: 4 mini goals, balls, bibs, cones to delimit starting points for defenders.

  • Players: 2 teams of 8 players.

  • Development:

    • A team starts in possession inside the square.

    • Two defenders start from opposite corners, performing a physical-technical gesture (e.g., acceleration + previous pass) before entering to press.

    • If the team in possession achieves X passes, it can try to finish in any of the mini goals.

    • If the defenders steal, they counterattack with a quick finishing option and with opposition from the attackers.
