Tactical exercise aimed at progressing the game from zone 1 to the end zone, applying numerical superiority in structured phases. Combination play, decision making in offensive transition and the intelligent use of intermediate supports are enhanced.
The field is divided into three functional zones:
Zone 1 (start): the team in possession plays a 7×3 with its goalkeeper, with the objective of coming out from behind.
Zone 2 (intermediate): occupied only by two neutral players, who act as a bridge between zones.
Zone 3 (finishing): it is also played in 7×3 superiority, with the objective of finishing.
The progression is made by connecting from the start zone to the neutrals, and from there to the end zone.
Once the play is finished (shot, loss or recovery), the player reorganizes to start in the opposite direction, maintaining the fluidity of the exercise.
Reinforce patience and precision in the starting phase, without rushing the progression.
Effectively use neutral players as links, ensuring appropriate body profiles.
Encourage constant mobility and support at different heights in possession areas.
Work on finishing with an advantage, taking advantage of positional and numerical superiority.
Modify the number of players in the zones (e.g. 6×3 or 8×4) to adjust the difficulty.
Limit touches in the end zone to increase the speed of play.
Establish minimum number of passes before zone progression.
Introduce quick defensive transitions after a loss or goal.
