Exercise focused on organized defense with a line of three, in situations of numerical inferiority, simulating defensive actions near own goal. We also work on the offensive transition after recovery, with decision making according to the coach's instructions: quick exit or progression with possession.
In a space of approximately 1/3 of the field, 3 small goals are placed in different zones and a regulation goal defended by the 3 defenders. The opposing team attacks in numerical superiority (e.g. 5v3 or 4v3), looking to finish.
Once the defenders regain the ball, they must execute an offensive transition according to the coach's instructions:
Fast transition: direct hit to the mini-porteries.
Transition in progression: keep the ball and move forward as a block until finding a clear option to break lines.
Defensive bascule and coordination in line of three.
Permanent monitoring and hedging against mismatches.
Clarity in decision making after recovery: verticality or control.
Quick mental activation to get out of the low block in transition.
Change the number of attackers to vary the superiority (4v3, 5v3...).
Introduce an offensive or defensive wild card.
Establish a time limit to finish the opponent's attack.
Condition the type of exit (interior, lateral, with support).
