📝 1. Description of exercise

Possession drill in a reduced space that combines technical-tactical objectives (movement speed, conservation, offensive transition) with a strong physical component of high intensity (accelerations and decelerations). It stimulates quick decision making under pressure and the ability to move efficiently after passing sequences.

📐 2. Organization and Development

  • A circular space is delimited where two teams of 3 players face each other, with a neutral inside joker who plays with the holder.

  • On the perimeter of the circle there are 3 support players who also favor the team in possession.

  • After a predetermined sequence of passes (e.g. 5), the team with the ball can finish with a free goal in any of the goals distributed around the space.

  • Jokers are rotated and the duration of tasks is controlled to maintain intensity.

🎯 4. Tips or main aspects

  • Encourage a high circulation rhythm and constant mobility without the ball.

  • Control the accumulated physical load, especially due to the demand for changes of pace.

  • It is important to have visual and spatial coordination to take advantage of the free goals.
