📝 1. Description of exercise

Conservation exercise with a final objective that connects the possession phase in superiority with a progression in driving and crossing to the box. It simulates a situation of offensive change of direction and attack from the second line, promoting precision in passing, timing in the unmarking and arrival from behind.

📐 2. Organization and Development

• Two contiguous spaces of 20×15 m, configured as rounds.

• In one of them a 5 against 2 is played in superiority. An extra offensive player waits in the opposite space.

• After a certain sequence of passes (e.g., 5 consecutive passes), a pass to the isolated player is sought.

• This player receives and drives to the back line to cross.

• Three offensive players from the rondo accompany the action and enter the area to shoot.

• The two defenders of the rondo must retreat to defend the completion.

• 👁️‍🗨️ Reading the optimal moment for the pass to the isolated player.

• ⚡ Speed in driving and center after vertical pass.

• ⏱️ Coordination and synchronization in the arrival from the second line.

🔁 3. Variants

• Change number of touches or passes required before the long pass.

• Allow progression only if the pass goes beyond a virtual line.

• Add an extra defender in the area to make it more difficult to shoot.

• Alternate the side from where the pass starts to the player away.
