Possession drill in numerical superiority (7×3) with focus on changes of direction and pressure in inferiority, ideal for working on ball conservation under pressure, collective mobility, and defensive organizational response with physical and mental exhaustion.
Three teams of 7 players are formed.
Two sectors of the field are delimited.
In one of the sectors, a 7×3 (possession with superiority) is played.
If the team in possession achieves an established passing sequence (e.g. 5), it can make a change of direction to the other sector.
In doing so, 3 new players from the other team enter to press.
Key rule:
Each time the pressing team does not recover the ball before the change of direction, it adds one more player pressing in the next action.
When a certain number of errors or missed actions are accumulated, the role of the teams is rotated.
In possession: amplitude, constant mobility and open body orientation.
In pressure: coordinated intensity, closing of passing lanes and quick swinging.
