📝 1. Description of exercise

Exercise in a reduced space that combines physical work, situations of numerical superiority and quick offensive transitions after recovery. Designed to work on decision making and offensive efficiency under conditions of fatigue or physical demand.

🧭 2. Organization and Development

  • It starts with a 4 vs. 2 round-robin in a reduced space.

  • The two defenders look to intercept the ball.

  • When they recover, they quickly go on the attack in a 2-on-1 to a regulation goal.

  • After the completion (goal, loss or clearance), both defenders must run at a high pace to return to their rondo zone, thus completing the cycle of the exercise.

⚠️ 4. Tips or main aspects

  • Control the intensity of the races to maintain the desired physical demand.

  • Encourage quick mental and physical defense-attack transition.

  • Observe the quality of decision making in 2v1, especially in fatigue situations.

  • Adjust breaks according to the group and the time of the session to avoid excessive accumulation of load.

  • Change the number of players in the round (5v2, 6v3...).

  • Vary the distance to goal for transition.

  • Introduce a time limit to execute the 2v1.

  • Add active opposition on the return (e.g., pressure after loss).
