📝 1. Description of exercise

Exercise in a reduced space focused on quick first touch play, the orientation of the game towards the goal and offensive-defensive transitions. We work on the circulation in superiority and the immediate reaction after loss or recovery.

🧭 2. Organization and Development

• A rectangle divided into two sectors is delimited.

• Four small goals are placed at the corners of the rectangle.

• In each sector a 3 vs. 1 (possession in superiority) is played.

• The objective is to maintain possession, connect with the other sector and, after a certain number of passes (e.g. 3), finish in either of the two goals on the opposite side.

• If the defender recovers the ball, he can finish directly, taking advantage of the disorganization of the team in defensive transition.

⚠️ 4. Tips or main aspects

• Encourage free and fast space-oriented play, preferably with one or two touches.

• Work on the immediate transition after loss or recovery (instant role change).

• Assess the quality of the connection pass between sectors, as well as previous mobility.

• Reinforce the attention and defensive positioning of the player in inferiority to anticipate and steal.

🔄 3. Variants

• Adjust the number of mandatory passes before completion.

• Allow free passing between sectors or only after a visual/acoustic signal.

• Add an offensive joker or limit to one touch to increase the difficulty.

• Vary the number of players per sector (4v2, 2v1...).
