NAGELSMANN, TRIANGULAR ROUND

Description of the exercise 🏆 2.

Positional round-robin in triangular format with defensive transitions, combining technical (passing, control, body orientation) and tactical aspects (pressure after loss, conservation, superiority). It involves three teams of two players and an offensive joker.

2. Organization and development 📌

• Triangle-shaped space divided into two halves.
• Three teams of 2 players each and a neutral joker who always plays with the team in possession.
• In one of the halves a 4vs1 is played: two players from one team + joker + one player from the other team, who defends.
• In the other half, one player from each team is on standby.
• When the ball is lost, the two players of the team that loses possession move to defend in the other sector.
• It dynamically rotates between roles: possession, waiting and pressing.

4. Tips or main aspects 🔍

• Good occupation of space and width in the round.
• Immediate activation to press after loss.
• High pace and constant communication between colleagues.
• Oriented control and precise passing to avoid pressure.

3. Variants 🔄

• Adjust the number of touches allowed to increase difficulty.
• Change the format of the space (square divided in two, hexagon).
• Introduce a second wildcard for greater fluidity.
• Count the number of passes before being able to change sectors.
