NUNO, DUELS AND AERIAL PLAY

📝 1. Description of exercise

Progressive exercise in reduced space that combines fast attack-defense situations, transitions work and resolution of actions from direct aerial balls. It favors offensive aggressiveness and tactical adaptation in inferiority/superiority.

🧭 2. Organization and Development

• Reduced delimited space (e.g. 25×20 m).

• It starts with a 2-on-1 situation towards a goal.

• At the end of this action, a new defender is introduced (2v1 becomes 2v2), and an aerial ball from the outside starts the next play.

• A new attacker is added to generate a 3 vs. 2, which after finishing repeats the same pattern: a new defender is added to become a 3 vs. 3.

• The sequences are linked quickly to maintain rhythm and intensity.

⚠️ 4. Tips or main aspects

• Encourage offensive aggressiveness and a quick finishing mentality.

• Work on defensive coordination and communication in changing situations.

• To observe the adaptation to the aerial ball, both in control and in dispute.

• Assessing the attack-defense transition after each action.

🔄 3. Variants

• Modify the type of ball (long aerial, pumped aerial, low pass...).

• Adjust dimensions of the space to require more precision or amplitude.

• Introduce time constraints or touches to speed up the game.

• Vary the order in which players enter (first defender, then attacker...).
