Technical exercise designed to work on passing combinations, walls, and constant mobility, promoting precision, synchronization and reading of the game between players. The aim is to automate technical gestures and passing patterns in a reduced but structured environment, applicable to positional play.
A minimum of 6 players are placed in a diamond structure (4 outside + 1 lateral support + 1 inside).
Varied passing sequences are executed, with emphasis on:
Changes of pace and direction.
Fast walls (one-two).
Passes with different powers and trajectories (flush, with bounce, to the foot or to space).
The inside player acts as the main connector, forcing him to read passing lanes and turn his body depending on the play.
Roles are alternated after each sequence to ensure everyone's active participation.
Promote technical quality in passing and oriented control.
Ensure intensity in off-ball movement to support or provide passing line.
Work on body coherence and the appropriate profile for each reception.
Stimulate constant communication and tactical anticipation between players.
Increase the number of players and convert the rhombus into a hexagon or dynamic free figure.
Limit touches or require use of non-dominant leg in specific stretches.
Introduce mandatory change of orientation after certain combinations.
Include mini-port completion or breakup pass after sequence.
