1. Description of the exercise

Exercise oriented to possession in small spaces, with emphasis on inside play and immediate transition after loss. We work on a fixed structure of space occupation, promoting fast circulation, decision making in limited space and instant defensive reaction.

2. Organization and development 📐

A larger square is divided into four equal zones, with one player from each team stationary in each zone. In addition, two players from each team are placed outside the playing area as external supports. In the center is placed a neutral player who always participates with the team in possession.
A superiority possession is played (7 vs 4). Players must stay in their assigned zones and collaborate to keep the ball. If the defenders recover the ball, there is an immediate change of roles: those who lose the ball switch to defend, thus working on the transition of pressure after loss.

  • Good rational use of space by zones.

  • Immediate activation after loss to avoid rival transition.

  • Coordination between inside players and outside linebackers.
