📝 1. Description of exercise

Mixed exercise with a physical-conditional and tactical component, in which a high-pace run is combined with a 3-on-3 small sided game (SSG) situation. The objective is to work on the ability to perform intense intermittent efforts and make decisions under fatigue conditions.

🧩 2. Organization and development

  • Players are divided into two teams of three.

  • Both teams run at high intensity around the perimeter of the field (approximately 300-400 m depending on size).

  • At a certain moment, one of the teams receives a ball and a 3×3 is automatically initiated in the delimited space (it can be half court or a specific zone).

  • After the completion of the play (goal, loss, recovery or time limit), the teams alternate roles: the defending team starts the next run and then attacks.

  • The exercise can be structured in series with pre-established work and recovery times.
